Drove integration with diverse on-premises, cloud, and third-party applications, including Snowflake, and pioneered new integration patterns to seamlessly connect a SaaS platform with legacy systems using Python, enhancing system interoperability and operational agility.

  • Klarna’s Retail Media Network: Led the strategy and architecture design for a platform that could support the personalization and distribution of content across multiple channels.

  • ClearSaleing’s Real-Time Advertising Analytics Platform: Developed an innovative platform for market-leading attribution analytics, demonstrating our expertise in handling high-volume, real-time data processing, and complex data analytics.

  • Marketing Analytics Startup: Within just 60 days, resolved critical performance and scalability challenges. By refactoring multiple Python programs, optimizing database design, and updating the entire data processing pipeline flow, we eliminated dozens of hours of processing time. A pipeline that once ran continuously now completes in just a few hours, and remains current throughout the day with near real-time updates. Additionally, we enhanced dashboard reporting performance by over 10x while eliminating erratic response times.

  • Port Authority of New York and New Jersey: Designed a resilient, multi-tiered distributed system. The Ground Transportation Information System (GTIS) reliably served Newark, Laguardia, and JFK air travelers for over two decades.

  • Metropolitan Transit Authority: Engineered their capital Project Status Reporting (PSR) system that has been operating for over 25 years.

  • BMW Group, North America: Architected and led the development team for the front office digital transformation of the BMW sales company and BMW Financial Services in the US and Canada. The platform has been in continued use for over 20 years.

  • Nationwide Financial: Architected and oversaw the development of a wholesale CRM platform.

  • AT&T: Architected and implemented an offline development environment enabling speed and agility for a 100+ person development team.

Large Program Delivery

  • Collections Technology Transformation: Led on-time the end-to-end delivery of a technology transformation project in the Collections domain for a leading bank with over $200 billion in assets. Oversaw solution architecture, project management, and application development to modernize collection strategies and enhance operational efficiency.

  • SAP R/4 Implementation in FinTech: For Klarna, a multi-billion dollar global bank, successfully launched their SAP platform in the cloud. The project involved global teams that involved the merging of over 10 entities in 5 countries.

  • FinTech Platform Overhaul: Spearheaded the architectural redesign and project execution, facilitating a large-scale organizational transformation in a major FinTech company.

  • Retail Operations Enhancement: Led the Sterling Order Management delivery program for a retailer generating over $5 billion in sales.

  • Ecommerce Platform Migration: Orchestrated a transition from Rackspace to Oracle OCI for an eCommerce platform processing over $250 million in sales annually.

  • Post M&A Integration: Led the integration program from inception to completion resulting in the seamless integration of Billpay, a German FinTech, into Klarna

Startup Product Management and Engineering Leadership

We have expertise in leading product and engineering teams at startups in phases from 0 to 1 and scaling up. Our team has held critical roles such as CTO, CPO, COO, and VP level positions at companies in diverse sectors such as Financial Services / FinTech, AdTech, and Industrial Robotics. We’ve had critical roles as part of fund raising rounds and successful exits:

  • CTO at ClearSaleing: Led the product management, software development, and solutions engineering from inception to acquisition by GSI Commerce, and subsequent integration into eBay Enterprise. Played a foundational role in establishing ClearSaleing as a leader in marketing attribution.

  • Head of Product, North America at Klarna: Joined as the 7th employee in North America, leading the Product and Solutions team. Instrumental in Klarna's rapid expansion and successful product implementations in the North American market.

  • VP International Product at Klarna: Designed and led the development and launch of Klarna's On-Site Messaging Platform, including leading of development teams in Wroclaw, Poland.

  • COO and CPO at READY Robotics: Played a significant role in the successful Series B fundraising round and led the transition to a software only service, and rearchitecture of the Forge/OS platform from the ground up.

  • General Manager, North America and Trade Services at MODIFI: Directed a product team to create a new vertical for Data Discovery in the Trade Finance Platform.
